A tale of one well in Malawi

This eye-opening look at life in an African village is narrated by Asale, a little girl whose family struggled to find enough water until a charity built a well in their area. Quotes from Asale illustrate life before and after the life-saving construction. Closes with a blunt conservation warning, followed by a plaintive comment from Asale that if people in rich countries keep using so much water, "there will not be enough for people in poor countries like mine.".
