Speak through the wind

Kassandra, rescued as a child from the mean streets of Manhattan in 1841, is raised in the loving home of Reverend Joseph, but a devastating mistake as a young teen sets her on a path that leads her far from Joseph and God, and she begins to doubt whether it will ever be possible for her to return.
