Choice of colours

Today, many of the best quarterbacks in the United States are African-American. Fifty years ago, the NFL didn't black quarterbacks a chance to play. Talented players headed north, and became stars on Canadian teams. John Danakas looks at the pioneering players who wore new team colours and helped change their sport.
