Churchill's bomb

At the beginning of World War II, Britain was at the forefront of the nuclear arms race. By the end of the war, Britain had fallen behind, largely due to Winston Churchill's reluctance to realize the atom bomb's strategic value. Because of this, Churchill ceded the nuclear initiative to America through neglect.
