Presents poems of various styles and themes by more than sixty African poets of various ideologies; poets' home countries include Angola, Cameroon, Cape Verde, Cote d'Ivoire, Congo, Egypt, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Kenya, Malawi, Morocco, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Sudan, Tanzania, Tunisia, Uganda, and Zimbabwe.
