Presents five read-aloud plays for use in grades four through eight, based on the experiences of explorers Leif Eriksson, Christopher Columbus, Cabeza de Vaca, Hernando de Soto, and Sieur de La Salle, each with background information, activities, and writing and discussion prompts.
