The Nexi robot

Introduces robots to young readers and describes what actions they can perform such as vacuuming a floor, exploring the ocean, and welding car parts together. Later scientists began to create social robots who might be able to interact with people such as the Japanese robot Kansei who can demonstrate fear. Also Nexi is a robot developed to sense the world around it and speaks with a human voice.
