Sinbad the sailor

Sinbad, a lazy youth who spent his father?s wealth, went to sea to try to make a new fortune. There he landed on an island that turned out to be a whale, discovered birds so huge they could carry men about like feathers, and found himself the prisoner of a giant cannibal.
