While living in a post-industrial wasteland, fifteen-year-old Boetema discovers she can astral project in her sleep. But when she accidentally gets a boy from another planet hurt, Boetema must find a way to bring him back to her world. Meanwhile, Boetema's parents have temporarily left home and she and her thirteen-year-old brother must run away while being hunted by a cyborg.
