All about magnets

Why are magnets attracted to the refrigertor but not to wooden cabinets? Why do magnets sometimes pull together and other times push apart? Students will explore what makes something "magnetic" and learn that while magnets come in many different shapes and sizes, they all have two things in common--a north and south pole.
