Primary sources in American history

Uses primary source documents, narrative, and illustrations to recount several turning points in American history: the Salem witch trials, the Battle of the Alamo, the California gold rush, the construction of the Erie Canal and the transcontinental railroad, and the victory of the women's suffrage movement.
