An English verse translation of the sacred poem, part of the Hindu epic "Mahabharata," documents a dialogue between young warrior Arjuna and Krishna, believed to be an incarnation of God, on the eve of a battle in which Arjuna must face an army composed of close relatives and other loved ones.
