Chancellor Palpatine reveals his identity and the Sith Lord Darth Sidious to Anakin Skywalker. Anakin reports this to the Jedi council, and Mace Windu goes to arrest the newly discovered Sith. But Anakin, still wanting the secret power promised to him by the Chancellor, betrays the Jedi and helps Palpatine kill Mace.
