Michael Strogoff

The herculean Strogoff is sent by the Czar with a letter to a commandant in Irkutsk, beleaguered by hordes of Tartars. Traversing the vast extent of Siberia, accompanied by a beautiful girl, he encounters every conceivable kind of peril, but escapes, and executes his mission.
