Emerald ash borer

Describes the life cycle of a small beetle known as an emerald ash borer, and includes information on its physical characteristics, behaviors, diet, and its life in a larva, pupa, and final move into adulthood where it spends its time in an ash tree. In order to curb the massive growth of ash borers, the government burns down ash trees or places wasp eggs in places where they can ingest emerald ash borer larvae.
