The Handbook

almost always, there's nothing there but an uneaten tuna casserole, or a banana peel, or a diaper, which is why Jack's mom always tells him not to go digging through other people's garbage. But sometimes, people throw away secrets. Jack finds something in the trash so strange that he shows it to Mike, and then they show Maggie. They're stunned, but they know immediately they have to try it out. And soon, this mysterious garbage find....a book, of all things....allows them to turn the tables at home. Now the kids are making the rules. But even though they are on to their parent's tricks, someone is on to them. Can they hide the Handbook? Can they stay one step ahead and out of trouble?.
