Mandela

Explores the life of Nelson Mandela. He ws born the son of a Thembu tribal chief in 1918 and grew up to be South Africa's strongest voice against the government's policy of racial segregation known as apartheid. After spending nearly three decades as a political prisoner, her was released, and in 1994 was elected the first democratically chosen President of South Africa, thus ending minority rule in Africa's last white-run country.
