How we elect a president

Live-action, animation and colorful graphics explain the entire election process. Students learn about political "platforms" and "party ticket," as well as interesting factors about former presidents. They come to understand the qualifications of a presidential candidate, the differences in political parties, how presidential caucuses and primaries work, the role of national conventions and the voting process itself.

American Symbols of Freedom

Was there really an Uncle Sam? Who wrote the Pledge of Allegiance? Why are the flag's colors red, white , and blue? Children will enjoy exploring answers to these questions and learning about the origins and meaning of our country's most important symbols and celebrations. In this program, students will learn the history behind our country's most valued symbols. Live-action, animation,and colorful graphics help tell the stories in an entertaining and memorable way.
