Deciding that education makes the moose, Morris enrolls in school to find out how to read and count. Soon, he is making new friends, learning new things, playing new games and having lots of fun using his head for more than jsut a place to keep his antlers.
Morris finds it hard to believe that the cow he meets is not a moose like himself. To prove that the cow is a moose, Morris enlists the help of a confused deer and horse.
