Emily, Adriane, and Kara, three teenage girls with different and sometimes conflicting personalities, are chosen by the Fairimentals to search for Avalon, the home of magic, and protect magical animals that entered through a portal in the woods from a dangerous evil.

When the three mages visit Emily's father on his horse ranch in New Mexico, they find a herd of baby unicorns that need the girls' combined power to save them from an evil hunter.

Teenage mages Emily, Kara, and Adriane work hard to protect the portal to the Magic Web at Ravenswood Wildlife Preserve, but their real quest is to find the portal to Avalon, the legendary home of magic. When a young warlock named Donovan shows up with trouble in tow, the mages would like to just get rid of him, but he has something they need: a fairy map to Avalon.

Adriane, the Warrior, must defend Ravenswood from the Spider Witch and the Dark Sorceress, who are determined to possess the power crystals of Avalon, but in order to save her home, Adriane must find the courage to walk the eerie spirit trail.
