Shortly after discovering the true reason Uruki was turned against his father, she realizes their nation is in dire danger and launches an effort to unite the twin Celestial Warriors Urumiya and Teg.

Takiko is back in the Universe of the Four Gods where she discovers what happened between Uruki and his father to make them enemies. Meanwhile, Takiko tries to keep her health a secret from the Celestial Warriors.

At their school's cultural festival, Futaba and her first love, Kou, accidentally kiss. Futaba is thrilled with the development between them but rumors cause a misunderstanding at school. Then Futaba sees Yui in Kou's arms later when he helps her during her estrangement from her family. As things become more complicated, everyone must examine their feelings.

Futaba Yoshioka disliked all boys in middle school except for Tanaka, but Tanaka transferred schools, leaving Futaba with a misunderstanding. Tanaka returned to Futaba's life in high school, under the name of Kou, and things got interesting again. Now, though, Futaba feels like Kou and Yui are keeping in touch more, and the distance between her and Kou has grown. Then, something unexpected happens at the school festival.

Kou asks Futaba to go with him to the festival, which will essentially be their first date. Futuba is ecstatic, but a classmate, Toma Kikuchi, begins to pursue her.

Futaba suspects something happened between Kou and her best friend Yuri but isn't sure. She starts to investigate, again realizing how much she loves Kou, but wondering what happened to him that makes him so aloof.

Futaba Yoshioka is surprised to meet her middle school crush in high school again, and when Kou confesses he had feelings for her when they were in junior high also, Futaba hopes they could start something now. However, Kou acts brusque, but sweet also--maybe a leadership retreat together can bring them closer.

When Ikuto hides out at Amu's house, she might have a chance to finally learn his secret.

As Amu attempts to track her missing Guardian Character, her three remaining Guardians attempt to combat the Easter Corporation's latest evil plot.

When two new Guardian Characters are chosen, Amu realizes that one's secret may be even larger than she thought, and that the other may be out to betray them all to the Easter Corporation.
