Azuma, a dark wizard of the forest who can command the power of trees and earth, has used his power to fell the great tree of Sirius Island, stealing away all of the Fairy Tail wizards' powers. Now Ezra has no choice but to fight Azuma without his magic, and alone.

After returning to Earth-land, the guild prepares to participate in the S-Class wizard test. Eight participants enter, but only one will pass the test and earn the title of S-Class.
