Wolverine forms a new X-Force with the help of Archangel and Psylocke and finds the secret team necessary when he learns Apocalypse has been reborn and must be killed before he can enslave the world.

Kate Rasputin must travel into the past to warn her fellow X-Men of Sentinel robots who are hunting mutants to extinction, while in the future Kitty and the remaining X-Men fight off the robots to prevent a nuclear attack that one will survive.
