After Aoba and the other's storm Enja's hidden palace to rescue Sakura, Byakaya must defeat Maimai to get the key to the tower in which Sakura is imprisoned.

On the run from Prince Oura after he tried to kill her, Sakura takes refuge with the ninja Kohaka. Using a demon to lure Sakura and Kohaka out of hiding, Prince Oura steals Sakura's sword, which he now intends to use to kill her.
