Franklin the turtle learns that how big you are does not have anything to do with how you feel when he is assigned to be a buddy to Moose, a frightened new student at school.

Franklin forms a secret club with some of his friends, but since his clubhouse is so small, some of his friends are left out, so when his other friends form their own club, Franklin realizes how they felt and decides to open his club up to anyone who wants to join.
