In 1950s America, K, a forty-foot creature covered in fur and feathers, created out of dangerous government testing, is captured by a group of American hunters and held as a size show freak, where he dreams of returing to the simple life he once knew.

The wife, sons, and daughter-in-law of Noe, a man touched by God, describe their struggles to understand and to help when Noe instructs them to gather wood and animals and prepare to spend an unspecified amount of time living together trapped on an ark.

After being thrown out of the Garden of Eden, Adam and Eve struggle to find their way in a harsh world while understanding God's motives.
