The Chimera ants spread beyond their homelands to establish new colonies after their queen dies, attacking Meteor City, where a group of assassins called the Spiders fend off the invasion and their leader, Gon, realizes that large segments of various towns are missing and that he is being followed by something hostile.

Gon and Killua prepare to battle Knuckle; and Killua learns about a flaw in his fighting ability.
