Sean Dillon is assigned to investigate an ambush in Afghanistan in which twelve United States Army Rangers and a British medical team died, and, when it becomes clear an Irish man had a role in the attack, he realizes he is not only hunting members of the Taliban but also a traitor to his country.

In Kosovo, American Blake Johnson and Major Harry Miller of Britain band together just in time to stop a rogue Russian captain from desecrating a helpless village. Actually, Miller stops him...with a couple of bullets to the head.

Sean Dillon fears an old nemesis is targeting the members of an elite intelligence unit and struggles to stay alive as the other team members are killed off by an assassin with seemingly unlimited resources.
