Phantom stallion

When thirteen-year-old Samantha returns home to her family's cattle ranch in Nevada, she's nervous. She moved away two years ago to recover from a bad fall off her beloved mustang, Blackie, and she's still not sure she can get back in the saddle. She's having trouble bonding with her new horse, Ace, the other ranchers treat her like the boss's spoiled daughter, and Blackie has been missing since the day of Sam's fateful accident.

Two years after Sam's horse Blackie threw her in a near-fatal accident, a mustang comes to Sam and she wonders if it is him all grown up.

Samantha must depend on the Phantom Stallion for help when she discovers a plot to wipe out the wild horses near her family's ranch, but cannot make anyone believe her.

The phantom is hurt during a fire in the wild horse sanctuary, and Sam wonders if he can continue living in the wild.

Sam helps a horse which she at first considers a wild mustang, but later she begins to suspect that it might have an owner.

A movie star horse and his trainer come to River Bend Ranch.

Samantha finds a lost mare and must find its owner before the Phantom Stallion claims her.

Sam tries to help a friend with his newborn horse. But when the colt goes missing, Sam is the one who needs help--from the Phantom Stallion.

Samantha is excited when the Phantom Stallion's new foal is ready to be born and is sure she can handle things while everyone is off on the cattle drive, but she begins to have her doubts when a dangerous thunderstorm hits the ranch and the Phantom arrives to take his new filly back to the wild.

When a horse named Jinx arrives at River Bend everyone except Samantha believes that he brings bad luck.
