Maka must rally her strength to battle Dr. Franken Stein, whose massive soul dwarfs her, even without a weapon.

Tsubaki and Black Star are set to fight Uncanny Sword, Tsubaki's jealous older brother, but in order to defeat him, Tsubaki will have to overcome her docile temperament.

Maka, an aspiring scythemeister, and her transforming partner/weapon, Soul Eater, ask Dr. Stein to give them extra training but may not be prepared for the consequences if they fail.

Kid's soul wavelength is amplified when "BREW" activates during a battle with Mosquito, and Mosquito redoubles his efforts to destroy Kid.

Arachnophobia uses "BREW" while on offense, and DWMA sends tis top students to collect information, but the madness is spreading quicker than expected.

As one young witch runs away from Death City, Medusa returns to DWMA, hoping to strike a deal with Shinigami-sama. While they are reluctant to trust the young witch after her previous betrayal, the information she offers is critical to their efforts to stop Arachnophobia and the spread of madness.

As Black Star and Tsubaki distract Mifune and Mosquito, Sid locates Arachnophobia's demon tool and destroys it, and Shinigami-sama locks the blueprints for it away in his safe rather than destroying them.
