The story of Katharine Drexel, a Gilded Age heiress, who became a Catholic nun, gave away all her wealth, and selflessly worked for the welfare and rights of Native Americans and African Americans. Mother Katharine died in 1955 and was canonized as a saint in the Roman Catholic Church in 2000.
