After the divorce of his parents, Dex Pratt moves in with his father, who is now wheelchair-bound after failing to commit suicide. When Dex's father, once a lawyer who defended marijuana growers, begins growing the drugs as well, Dex starts smoking it and enters a surreal world where he loses touch with what is reality and what is imagined.
