Yun, Mi-Kyung

Habaek's decision to bring Soah into his magical kingdom angers the other elemental gods and goddesses, but during the night, when Habaek is able to assume the form of an adult--the god Mui--his flirting with Soah gets out of control and Habaek questions whether he should admit his secret.

Soah, a young woman whose determination and strength saved her village from a terrible drought, turns her talents to uncovering the truth behind the predicament in which she finds her strange new husband, the Water God.

Habaek the Water God, cursed to live in the form of a little boy during the day, changes into his adult form at night while his wife, Soah, who thinks she is only married to a child, is tempted by flirtations from Mui--the adult Habaek--while trying to learn the truth herself and avoid angering the gods.

Soah is surprised when, after being sacrificed to the water god Habaek in exchange for a promise of rain, she is welcomed into his magical kingdom instead of being killed.
