Follows the life of the first century historical figure, Boudica of Briton, and Lhiannon, her mentor on the Druid's Isle.

Eilan is the daughter of a Druid. Her land, the Britain of the first century, is struggling to survive Roman occupation and her own people's enemies. She is ready to become a priestess of The Forest House, but she has a secret. Gaius, a Roman soldier of mixed blood, has become close to her.
