Over the summer, KJ, the blah daughter of a hunting and fishing guide, turned into a noticeably cuter version of herself. She doesn't care at first, but when she meets Virgil, whose mom is studying the controversial wolf packs in nearby Yellowstone Park, KJ develops an interest in wolves and she and Virgil spend their time watching the animals and each other.
