Bess and George come to Nancy's rescue after she encounters some thugs from Pretty Face Cosmetics, the corporation that is sponsoring the beauty pageant in which Nancy has agreed to compete.
Upon discovering a secret about a cosmetics corporation's product, Nancy Drew is taken hostage and tries to find a way to free herself so that she can reveal the secret and save any girls who may come into contact with the product.
