An adaptation of the tragedy of Scotland's King Duncan and the ambitions of a nobleman MacBeth and his wife who plot and carry out the king's murder. This plunges the country into civil war. Lady MacBeth soon goes mad and MacBeth is killed in combat.

An adaptation of the tragedy of a Danish prince who learns his father was murdered by his uncle who then became king and married the widowed queen. The prince, Hamlet, devises a play depicting what has happened and must flee the country after its performance. Upon returning he must duel for his life and is able to bring forth the truth of his uncle's treachory.
