A tale inspired by Jewish and Islamic folklore finds young Shaina caring for a magnificent hen while waiting for its owner, Izzy Pippik, to return and claim the bird, a situation that is complicated when the hen lays dozens of eggs, scattering rowdy chicks throughout the village and inciting the wrath of Shaina's neighbors.
