Ghatti's tale

Doyce and Khar, a human woman and her telepathic, catlike ghatti Bondmate, are called upon as members of the Seekers Veritas to try and avert war between Canderis, the town the Seekers are sworn to protect, and the neighboring kingdom of Marchmont.

Doyce and Kahr, a human woman and her telepathic, catlike, ghatti Bondmate, embark upon a journey into the past, hoping that the secrets of that long-ago time when the first Seeker-ghatti Bond was formed will help them protect the future from the Gleaners--mutant humans who can read and control the minds of others.

A colonizing expedition from Earth has been stranded on the planet Methuen for over 200 years; the evolving society is led by a group of healers called the Eumedicos and by the Seekers Veritas. When someone begins to kill the Seekers, it's up to Doyce to defeat the detroyer.
