Astro and Tiamat take the battle to save Industria to the city of Maseille, where the aliens, under the command of a leader who has a connection to Astro's past, are subjugating the city with a power known as Dark Energy.

When Astro, a spunky slum kid, changes places with his planet's playboy prince, he sees the chance to end the chaos that is tearing his planet, Industria, apart. As Prince Barrage, Astro will use an all-powerful magical spear, the Orgue, to battle aliens, while being trained to fight by his guardian knight, Tiamat.
