Harold and the purple crayon

A ladybug on the windowsill inspires Harold to take up his purple crayon and draw himself into the ladybug's garden.

Harold loves animals so much that he decides to find out what it is like to be one and sets out on a series of imaginary wildlife adventures.

Harold uses his purple crayon to draw a race car and racetrack and then set out on a fabulous adventure.

When Harold is unable to sleep, he uses his purple crayon to draw a jungle in which he hopes to find dinosaurs.
