Czech artist, Alphonse Mucha, was a consummate decorative arts artist, in the style of art nouveau, at the turn of the twentieth century. During the height of his fame his style was expressed in everything from posters, book and magazine illustrations, stained glass windows, theatrical sets and costumes, to interior design and architectural conceptions.
