Keiko, seer for the mystical organization Dawn's Venus, is forced to regard her classmate Mahiru as an enemy after being given evidence of the connection between between Mahiru and The Moonlight Bandits, but Mahiru, who truly wants to be a bridge between humans and the lunar race, reaches out in friendship instead.

In the battle between humans and the Lunar Race, Mahiru sides with the Lunar Race, while her classmate Keiko supports the human group Dawn's Venus, and when the conflict becomes deadly, Marihu realizes that only a truce can end the bloodshed.

Mahiru Shiraishi, on a quest to recover the stolen Drops of the Moon, the source of the Lunar Race's power, begins to have reservations after moving in with the tribe of demons.

Mahiru Shiraishi, haunted by a recurring dream, discovers she is the Descendent of the Princess whose help is needed by the Lunar Race, a tribe of demons that has been stripped of its powers by the theft of the Drops of the Moon.
