Arthur Conan Doyle and his wife, Louisa, arrive at the Britannic Hotel in 1890s New York, where Louisa, after coming across the body of a woman in the Bowery who she recognizes from the hotel, finds disturbing clues which point back to a stalker.
General Denton, an expatriate U.S. Civil War veteran and former frontier sheriff, teams up with social worker Janet Striker in 1900 London to investigate the brutal murder of prostitute Stella Minter and hunt down what might be the long-gone Jack the Ripper.
