Elle begins to question whether basketball is worth the time and effort she is putting in, and who she would be if not a basketball star.

Elle quit her basketball team midway through the season after feeling burned out. After joining the volleyball team and learning to have fun, Elle decides she wants to bring that mentality to her basketball team, that is, if she can convince the coach and her former teammates to take her back.
