Mama and Papa teach the children the family rules about strangers. Papa discovers his honey has been stolen. Too Tall Bear and the others plan some great practical jokes when they learn a substitute teacher is coming.

The Berenstain Bears in the dark: When Brother Bear brings a spooky book from the library, bedtime and the dark become ominous and threatening to Sister Bear. The Berenstain Bears ring the bell: The entire Bear family enjoys the Bear Country Nature Fair, and the day becomes perfect when Papa wins the Strongest Bear Contest.

Triple feature. The first story has brother and sister finding the missing bone just in time for the big museum exhibit. The second teaches prepositions, and the third sees the bears finding Farmer Ben's prize pumpkin.
