Don't cry, Big Bird and other stories

1991
Big Bird narrates three stories while the text appears on the bottom of the screen so children can read along.

I'm glad I'm me

1986
Children need to know that everything about them is special and unique--their bodies and how they look, what they think and what they feel. This is the message presented in specially produced new material and memorable segments from the Sesame Street television series. Big Bird, Bert, Ernie, and their Sesame Street friends encourage children to identify parts of their own bodies, and to develop a sense of pride and self-esteem that enables them to say "I'm glad I'm me.".

Big Bird in China

Along the way they visit Chinese schoolchildren, watch a tai ji demonstration, learn some Chinese words and songs, and meet the mischievous Monkey King, a traditional Chinese children's hero. As Big Bird learns about China's unique culture he also discovers the joy of making new friends.
