Contains "Foundation" in which Hari Seldon and his band of psychobiologists form the Foundation, designed to be the nucleus of an eventual ideal universal ruling corporation; "Foundation and Empire" in which the Galactic Empire declines and a period of disruption ensues, followed by the emergence of the Foundation; and "Second Foundation" which finds the mutant mind power of the Mule, as well as survivors of the now destroyed Foundation, searching for the rumored Second Foundation at the end of the galaxy.
