Six years after the Battle of Endor, Han and Leia must protect their unborn child as the war continues and Luke Skywalker succumbs to the lure of the Dark Side.

As Luke completes his Jedi training, Han shows up to give him the news that Leia is now serving the Empire. When Yoda tells Luke that Vader is his father and Leia his sister, Luke determines to rescue Leia and save her from the Dark Side before it is too late.

As Luke travels to Dagobah for his Jedi training with Yoda, Leia is taken to the Emperor, where she is coddled and tempted with the power of the Dark Side of the Force.

As Leia undergoes Jedi training, Han and Chewbacca raise the money to pay their debt to Jabba the Hut, only to be betrayed and sold to Jabba instead. Darth Vader once again arrives too late when Han and Chrewbacca escape before he arrives, but Vader seizes Threepio, who was left behind and is forces him to give Vader the information he wants.

Following Luke's death, Leia, Han, and Chewbacca leave Cloud City moments before the arrival of Darth Vader, who is not happy to find that the rebels have fled and Boba Fett is missing. Leia and Han proceed to Dagobah, where they believe Yoda is waiting to train Han as a Jedi, but find that the training is meant for Leia instead.

When he is ordered by the Emperor to kill Luke and Leia, Darth Vader hesitates long enough for the rebel attack to succeed. Luke and Leia assist their father in escaping the exploding Death Star and Vader offers his assistance in finding the Emperor, who escaped in the excitement.

Luke, Han, and Leia struggle to stop a reptile race called the Ssi-ruuk from brainwashing humans into becoming the pilots of their war machines.

Princess Leia focuses on training her secret team of pilots while Han Solo enters Coruscant, the heart of the Empire, on a secret mission to resupply the Rebel fleet. Meanwhile, Darth Vadar has been sent to a remote location.

Princess Leia, haunted by the specter of her infamous father, Darth Vadar, discovers a link to her past when she embarks on a clandestine mission to Tatooine along with Han, Chewbacca, and C-3PO, in an attempt to purchase a masterpiece of Alderaanian art being put up for auction that they know holds the key to a crucial code used to communicate with New Republic spies.

Han Solo, Leia, Chewbacca, and C-3PO travel to the Empire after the deaths of Darth Vader and Emperor Palpatine to recover a painting from the black market that contains a code the New Republic uses to communicate with its undercover agents in the Empire, but they must race to find the painting after it disappears from the auction.
