Nina and Sybil become trapped in a history book.

Nina has found that having a backpack fairy is a lot of trouble, especially when her mother sends her to a pyschiatrist, but it gets worse when she discovers that she must save not only the fairy world, but also the world of humans.

Middle school student Nina, who is picked on at school and lonely at home, is able to get back at her tormentors with the help of a fairy named Sybil, who appeared in her backpack, but the fairy was followed by demons from the magical world, who want to cause damage of their own.
